ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN IGBO NURSES IN AMERICA

We, the Nigerian Igbo Nurses residing in California, in our common effort to improve the health and quality of lives of Nigerians at home and abroad, to promote representation and support of issues relevant to all Nigerian Igbo Nurses in California regardless of specialty or organizational affiliation while positively contributing to the communities we reside in, do hereby resolve to constitute ourselves as Association of Nigerian Igbo Nurses in America (CA Chapter)

Mission statement

Association of Nigerian Igbo Nurses in America ANINA (CA Chapter) is an organization of Igbo nurses from the eastern part of Nigeria working to improve the health, and quality of lives of the population they serve.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION

The purposes for which the organization is formed are as follows:

a. To unite and mobilize Nigerian Nurses in California as a whole and to improve health b. To advocate for policies that impact the health and well-being of the population. c. To enhance the global perspective of nursing practice by providing opportunities for

nurses, students and faculty through affiliations with universities and hospitals, exchange programs, research and scholarship in Nigeria

d. To collaborate with boards of Nursing, Policy makers, institutions and organizations to improve the standard of Nursing Education and Practice
